Products and services purchased via Truemed are designed to be reimbursed through your regular Health Care FSA. It’s important to understand the distinctions between different FSA types to ensure you’re using the correct funds for your payments.


Which FSA Funds Can You Use?

  • Health Care FSA:

    • Eligible:

      • Funds in your standard Health Care FSA can be used toward Truemed services and products because they cover a broad range of qualified medical expenses.

  • Limited Expense Health Care FSA (LEX HCFSA):

    • Not Eligible via Truemed:

      • LEX HCFSA funds are restricted to dental and vision expenses only.

      • These funds cannot be applied toward general health services or products, including those offered via Truemed.

  • Dependent Care FSA:

    • Not Eligible via Truemed:

      • Dependent Care FSAs are earmarked exclusively for expenses related to the care of dependents (e.g., daycare, preschool, nannies).

      • They cannot be used for health care services or products provided via Truemed.
