What Is the Process for Adding a New Merchant or Studio to the Truemed Platform?

If there’s a health and wellness brand, merchant, or studio you’d like to use your HSA or FSA dollars with, we’re always open to expanding our network-but there’s a process involved.

Step 1: The Merchant Must Become a Truemed Partner

Truemed can only support HSA/FSA purchases and issue Letters of Medical Necessity (LMNs) for products and services sold by approved partners. This ensures:

  • We’ve verified that their offerings meet IRS eligibility standards

  • We can provide compliant documentation for your reimbursement or card payment

  • The process is seamless for both the customer and the merchant

Step 2: Encourage the Brand to Apply

If the merchant you want to use isn’t on our eligible list, we recommend sending them to:

  • Learn about Truemed's eligibility criteria

  • Apply to join our platform

  • Start the onboarding process if they qualify
