What is the End Chronic Disease Initiative?

Edited

The Problem

  • 77% of young adults don’t qualify for the military based on their health scores. Because of this, the military is lowering recruitment standards.

  • 50% of American young adults are overweight or obese.

  • One-third of young adults have pre-diabetes.

  • 40% of 18-year-olds meet the criteria for a mental health disorder. Suicide is the second leading cause of death among young adults.

  • 10% of children have fatty liver disease

  • The US has the worst infant and maternal mortality rates in the developed world.

The Plan

  1. Educate Lawmakers by sharing stories of American patients who have reversed their chronic conditions through root cause, non-pharmaceutical interventions.

  2. Advocate for Policy Change that incentivizes food, exercise and supplements are medical intervention. We are focused on areas like HSA reform, SNAP reform, and food-as-medicine research

  3. Build a Movement by joining our voices together to support specific bills and regulatory actions
