While Truemed specifically focuses on supporting the reimbursement process for HSA/FSA accounts, we often see customers attempting to obtain reimbursement through a range of account types.

Account Types

Account Name	Restriction Level	Potential Limitations
HSA	Low	Administrator specific requirements
FSA	Medium	Administrator specific requirements
HRA	Varies	Some HRAs act just like an HSA/FSA account. Other HRAs are restricted to specific categories of reimbursement (ex. dental, vision, deductible coverage).
MSA	High	Offered through Medicare plans. Often restricted to very specific categories (ex. doctor’s visits, lab tests, hospital stays).
Union HRA/FSA	High	Offered through union benefits. Often restricted to very specific categories (ex. deductible coverage).
UHC Cash Care Program	High	Restricted to UHC primary care or specialist visit payments only
